Job Shadow Reflection
When I went to my job shadow I filed papers, answered calls, and wrote out appointment cards. I job shadowed a very nice receptionists named Yesenia on June 23, 2016. I chose this job because a receptionist's is what I want to become after I graduate high school. Family HealthCare Network is the clinic where I went for my job shadow. I had a very great experience during this job shadow. During this job shadow I got to do plenty of hands on things and interact with clients. Making copies, filing papers, and filling out paperwork were just some the work I got to do. There was a lot of things I’ve learned throughout this job shadow. I learned I have to be very social and it’s more beneficial if you speak both english and spanish. You also have to be able to work fast and be able to multitask. Yes, I’m still very interested in becoming a receptionists. I have second guessed about this job, but now that I got a chance to experience it I love it. This was a great preparation for me because I got to see what my future career is going to be like. I am hopeful that I will become a receptionist's after I graduate from high school. |
